Plain answers about what you pay, who charges whom, and what happens to your money. Coaches first, clients below.

Is the 30-day trial really free?
Yes. You get 30 days with every feature unlocked, and we don't ask for a card to start. Nothing is charged during those 30 days. If you never enter a card, you are never charged at all — the trial simply ends.
What happens on day 31, and what will I pay?
On day 31 you choose. Enter a card and you pay $79 CAD/mo — the founding rate, and it never goes up for you, for as long as you keep the account. Do nothing and you pay nothing. When the founding group closes, new coaches pay $149 CAD/mo for Pro or $249 CAD/mo for Elite; your $79 stays $79. You can cancel any month, and every price on this page is in Canadian dollars.
How do I move clients I already coach onto Z6?
You import them in bulk. Drag in one folder from your computer, or connect Google Drive or Dropbox and pick a folder there. Z6 treats each subfolder as one client and creates their profile from what's inside. You don't retype anything, and your clients don't have to sign up on their own first — you invite them when you're ready.
Can I reuse the programs I already wrote in PDFs and spreadsheets?
Yes. Z6 reads a PDF or a spreadsheet program and turns it into a real Z6 plan — days, exercises, sets, and reps as editable fields, not an attachment. From there you edit it like anything you built in Z6 and assign it to any client. Your old files stay yours; nothing is deleted.
Does Z6 take a cut of what my clients pay me?
No. Z6 takes 0% of your client revenue. You pay one flat monthly rate for the software, and that is the only money Z6 receives from you. Stripe charges its own standard processing fee on each payment, the same as it would anywhere else — that fee goes to Stripe, and none of it comes to Z6.
Who charges my clients — me or Z6?
You do. You connect your own Stripe account, and every client payment is a charge from your business: your name on their statement, the money paid into your bank, the refunds and disputes handled by you in your own Stripe dashboard. Z6 never holds your clients' money and never sits between you and it.
Can a client pay for a package in installments?
Yes. When you sell a package you can take it as one payment or split it into 2 to 6 card payments. Z6 schedules the remaining payments, charges the card on each date, and keeps a running record of what has been collected and what is still owed, on the client's profile. If a payment fails you can see it and follow up.
Can my clients pay with Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay?
Yes, if you turn them on. They are your Stripe account's payment methods, so you enable them for your own account and they then appear at your checkout, in the countries where Stripe offers them. You are still paid in full up front; the buy-now-pay-later arrangement is between your client and that provider.
How do I refund a client?
You issue it yourself, in your own Stripe dashboard. The money was paid to you, so it comes back out of your account — Z6 can't refund on your behalf and doesn't set a refund policy for you. Z6 then updates the client's package: refund the whole amount before they've used any sessions and the package is cancelled outright; refund part of it, or refund after they've trained sessions off it, and Z6 updates the payment record and leaves the remaining sessions for you to settle with them. If you hand back cash instead, record that refund against the payment in Z6 so the client's payment history stays accurate.
Do my clients pay Z6 anything?
No. A client you coach on Z6 pays Z6 nothing, ever — no subscription, no per-client fee, no charge for the phone app. Your flat monthly rate covers them. The only money they pay is what they pay you, for your coaching.
Do my clients get a phone app?
Yes, and it's free for them. You send an invite by email; the link opens the Z6 client app on their phone and they install it from there — no App Store search, no separate account setup. Inside it they see your logo and your accent colour on your programs, meals, macros, supplements, check-ins, and progress photos. It works on any phone today; an App Store version is coming.
Who owns my client data, and can I take it with me?
You own it, and yes. Your clients, programs, logs, and payment history are yours, and you can export them at any time — not just on the way out. If you ever stop using Z6, you leave with your business intact.

What does Z6 cost me as a client?
It depends which of the two you are. If you train with a Z6 coach, the app is free for you, forever — your coach pays for the platform, and you only ever pay your coach for coaching. If you train on your own with no coach, it's free for 30 days with no card, then $20 CAD/mo, and you can cancel any month. Add a coach later and your $20 stops: your account switches to the free coached version.
Can I use Z6 without a coach?
Yes. You build your own plans across training, cardio, macros, meals, and supplements, and log every session, with your full history and personal records kept for you. Run a plan on a fixed weekly calendar, or on a flexible schedule where the next day waits until you actually train. No coach is assigned to you unless you go and pick one yourself.
What if I want a refund from my coach?
Ask your coach directly. Your coach charged you through their own Stripe account, so the refund comes from them, and each coach sets their own refund terms — Z6 doesn't set a refund policy for them and can't issue one on their behalf. Once your coach refunds you, your package in the app is updated to match what you've paid and what you have left.
